"A Step Up"

All of the above pastel originals have been made into prints - though it is possible to make a print of any and all of my artwork upon request. They come matted to the following 3 standard sizes - 8 x 10, 11 x 14, and 16 x 20 - so that they will fit into any conventional frame. The print prices are $25, $40, and $65 respectively. All of my prints are signed and numbered "Giclee" prints.

What are Giclee prints?

Giclee (jhee-clay) - Derived from the French verb gicler meaning to squirt. The term giclee print typically connotes a certain elevation in printmaking technology. Images are high resolution digital scans printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates. The Giclee process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.

Giclee prints (also known as Iris prints) are advantageous to artists who do not find it feasible to mass produce their work, but want to reproduce their art as needed.

Another tremendous advantage to Giclee printing is that artwork can be reproduced to almost any size and on various media, giving the artist the ability to customize prints for a specific client.

How to take care of your Giclee prints

  • Treat your Giclee like you would any fine work of art

  • Never display in direct sunlight

  • Never expose to extreme temperatures

  • Never rub the painting

  • Never use water, cleaning solvents, or chemicals on either side of the paper
